  • Advanced Systems Concepts Inc. Launches First Self-Healing Platform of Its Kind, Simplifying Workload Automation

New Super REST API Adapter takes ActiveBatch API to the next level Company acquires JSCAPE to enable organizations to automate even more business processes

Morristown, NJ– January 28, 2021– Advanced Systems Concepts Inc. (ASCI), creators of industry-leading workflow automation software ActiveBatch, today announced that the company will become the first of its kind to deliver an intelligent, self-healing workflow automation platform. The ActiveBatch platform will enable preemptive error detection and proactive troubleshooting so that organizations can ultimately reduce their support tickets to zero. The new, advanced capabilities will build on top of ActiveBatch’s full range of features and functions designed to simplify workload automation and extend the life of systems for companies at all stages of digital transformation. The company also announced the release of its Super REST API Adapter and acquisition of managed file transfer (MFT) leader, JSCAPE.

The new Self-Healing Platform will recognize issues and report on the user’s environment, telling them what’s working, what’s changing and what’s broken – or what soon will be broken. Ultimately, ActiveBatch will be able to self-update and send proactive, AI-powered fixes so that it all runs seamlessly and support tickets move to zero.

“There has been so little innovation in the workflow automation space, despite tremendous advances in software and applications. We saw an opportunity to rectify this with incredibly advanced technology that is easy to use and offers immediate value,” said Reed Overfelt, CEO of ASCI. “Trying to integrate, automate and manage systems, applications and services across an organization is unwieldy, and something is always breaking. With our new Self-Healing Platform, users will gain the ability to predict and fix issues before they become problems. We believe this is an absolute gamechanger for our workload automation customers.”

The new Self-Healing Platform will analyze anonymized customer data, using it to identify and track trends and then proactively deploy fixes to affected customers. It is the only such offering for the workflow automation market, and ASCI will phase its rollout of capabilities over the coming months to bring customers along as they are ready.

Next Level Super REST API Adaptor Makes Connections Simple

ASCI has also developed a new Super REST API Adapter, which provides the capability to establish connections to any software or service with an API, efficiently enabling automation for any endpoint. This future-proofs automation by ensuring that companies can reliably connect to any endpoint or technology as their organization grows.

Designed to accelerate the use of APIs, the intuitive, feature-rich UI includes a variety of helpers to guide users through setup. This includes icons that explain functionality, flags that identify errors and drop-down lists that allow you to quickly select variables and properties.

The Super REST API Adapter simplifies the authentication process with a list of built-in helpers for commonly used predefined values. DevOps teams can now easily create resilient, reusable API jobs. The Super REST API Adapter comes with everything necessary for rapid deployment, reducing time spent on building connections and resulting in significant cost savings.

JSCAPE Acquisition Furthers Vision and Extends Reach

Additionally, ASCI recently acquired JSCAPE, an industry-leading Managed File Transfer (MFT) company, that will enable ASCI to deliver transformational technology to an MFT market that has experienced limited innovation in recent years. JSCAPE’s technology already assists a wide swath of customers, particularly across highly regulated industries such as financial services and trading firms, healthcare and insurance.

By bringing JSCAPE’s technology under ASCI’s platform, the company can now offer its customers an integrated FTP server, industry-leading MFT functionality and monitoring. This new offering will help customers automate even more of their business processes.

“We are excited to offer our customers the many workload automation and job scheduling tools that ActiveBatch has,” said JSCAPE CEO Van Glass. “Our MFT solution will be another great tool in ActiveBatch’s industry-leading workload automation software offering.”

ASCI’s ActiveBatch currently integrates with enterprise IT and business applications across an organization, giving users the ability to bring their entire tech stack under a single pane of glass. It serves as a central automation hub for scheduling and monitoring to make business-critical systems, such as CRM, ERP, supply chain management, work order management, project management and consulting systems, work together seamlessly with minimal human intervention. ActiveBatch currently powers workload automation for global leaders such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Bosch, Deloitte, Subway and Verizon, removing the integration obstacles that hinder digital transformation.

  • Maven Machines Announces New Flexible Driver and Fleet Workflow Solution, Maven Workflow

New solution enables users to create flexible custom forms and stop and location-based workflows, increasing driver productivity and fleet efficiency

PITTSBURGH –– January 28, 2021 — Maven Machines, a premier fleet management and telematics software company in the commercial trucking and transportation industry, today announces Maven Workflow, a new software platform that allows users to create flexible custom forms and stop-based, location-based workflows. This platform is part of Maven’s flexible product suite that allows fleets to manage drivers and trips while meeting each user’s unique set of operational needs. Maven Workflow complements Maven’s suite of enterprise fleet management software solutions, including Maven Fleet, Maven Dispatch, Maven Inbound, and Maven ELD.

Maven’s new solution focuses on the flexibility of fleet and driver workflows — a long-standing pain point for managers, planners, dispatchers, and drivers alike. Maven Workflow provides a step-by-step workflow guide at each stop a driver makes, showing necessary information and forms configured for that specific stop type, location, and customer need. The type and sequence of the forms are customizable and easy to integrate within Maven’s mobile application and inventory of fleet management solutions. With Maven Workflow, providing fleets with access to reliable, accurate information in a flexible trip management platform and mobile driver app will help managers and drivers meet customer demand and improve fleetwide efficiency.

Maven also eliminates outdated mail and email-based communication methods with real-time, streamlined messaging and workflow processes. Drivers can now easily access important workflow information about their trips and stops right on their devices, wherever or whenever they need it.

“At Maven, we’re working to optimize processes for both fleet management and drivers so that fleets can also provide better services to their customers,” said Avi Geller, CEO of Maven Machines. “With Maven Workflow, we’ve done just that by providing users with a customizable workflow experience that leads to enhanced productivity for fleet managers, drivers, dispatchers, and planners alike. Productivity enhancements and operational efficiency improvements impact both the bottom line and the top line for fleets, resulting in cost savings and revenue growth, and ultimately, increased profitability.”

With the new workflow platform, fleet managers can also garner real-time insights into drivers and trips to ensure efficiency, safety, and increased productivity. With public APIs and the capability to instantaneously update a fleet’s transportation management software (TMS) with live data, combined with Maven’s suite of digital solutions and mobile application, managers can also achieve completely paperless billing, HOS, and driver management all in one platform.

“Maven Workflow is an intuitive driver workflow solution that provides customized, step-by-step workflow layouts and forms for each unique situation or customer,” said Alexa Ekberg, a product manager at Maven Machines. “Different workflow options can be used for each stop, and drivers can work smarter, not harder. Managers can gain insight into a drivers’ trips, vehicle movement, and ETAs. This boosts fleet productivity as well as improves the overall driver experience.”

Additionally, because of Maven Workflow’s ease-of-use and integration capabilities, the time required to train new employees drastically decreases. Subsequently, the need to learn a variety of complicated systems is now unnecessary, as Maven has created a configurable platform that meets each fleet’s specific operational needs.

This announcement follows Maven Machines’ $7 million Series A and the appointment of Todd Dorsey as CRO and the promotion of Rachel Firestone to COO. • Allego Delivers Smarter Virtual Selling and Enablement for Finance, Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing Industry Leaders

Forward-thinking brands like Fannie Mae, Recordati Rare Diseases and Johnson Health Tech select Allego for personalized, agile learning in a virtual environment

NEEDHAM, Mass. — January 26, 2021 — Allego, the leader in sales learning and enablement solutions, today announced Fannie Mae, Johnson Health Tech and Recordati Rare Diseases as new customers. Each brand is a leader in its respective industry, and the breadth of verticals proves, regardless of the business, personalized and agile sales training and enablement is necessary for continued growth and success.

Click to Tweet: World-class business leaders @FannieMae, Johnson Health Tech and Recordati Rare Diseases have selected @AllegoSoftware to fuel a new commitment to professional development, #virtuallearning and #salesenablement. https://bit.ly/3c8WTT3

“Virtual selling is here to stay and we’re proud to be in a position to help our customers manage collaboration, content and learning in a whole new way while their teams can’t be together physically,” said Yuchun Lee, CEO and Co-Founder of Allego. “Innovative companies like Fannie Mae, Johnson Health Tech and Recordati Rare Diseases understand the importance of modern sales learning and enablement strategies and we’re excited to work with them to help their sales organizations personalize learning paths for their reps, share content and best practices more easily, and improve remote coaching to improve sellers’ success.”

Eric Zines, Forrester Principal Analyst, Sales Enablement, in a blog states, “Throughout the pandemic, B2B sales teams have leaned heavily on sales enablement to keep sellers in front of buyers, and this reliance will continue well into the new year.” Indicative, in Allego’s opinion, of why blue chip brands have partnered with Allego: the pandemic has served as an inflection point and the remote environment will continue to be the standard, rather than the exception.

When evaluating other vendors, these businesses chose Allego due to its ability to:

    • Expedite onboarding and continued learning processes with on-demand learning assets and material. Recordati Rare Diseases saw the benefit of podcast-style content and exercises that engage team members while enabling certifications that ensure company-wide accuracy and compliance.

    • Ensure company-wide best practices are understood and accurately distributed in real-time, with instant access via mobile devices or desktop. Fannie Mae selected Allego after recognizing the impact of a “just-in-time” training philosophy that provides reps with relevant content and insights at the moment of need, rather than quarterly training sessions that require additional time and travel.

    • Provide access to the best content at the moment of need to enable strong client conversations. With Johnson Health Tech’s previous solution, the sales team wasn’t able to efficiently access material like frequently asked questions and content hubs. With Allego, the most impactful and relevant assets, including best practices from top-performing peers, are readily available at the moment of need.

“Prior to using Allego, It became clear we needed to modernize our sales enablement strategy. With a newly formed enablement team on board and the team all working remote due to the pandemic, we knew we needed to make an investment in improving our sales learning and enablement technology,” said Josh Zimmer, director of Sales Enablement for Fannie Mae. “We chose Allego because of the complete enablement approach that begins at the moment of onboarding, all the way to our most seasoned reps. Our company may be working from different parts of the country, but we’re building stronger, more connected teams that are prepared for virtual selling in 2021 and beyond.”

I see the CEO role as a coaching role, and my plan is for the team to drive fast and sustainable growth with a laser focus on providing customer value. I lead by the mantra that ‘if you want to go quickly go by yourself, if you want to go further, go with a team’.”
