  • New Frontiers in Cloud Security

    New Frontiers in Cloud Security

Cloud Security has certainly come a long way since the early days of cloud adoption when many thought the very term Cloud Security was an oxymoron. While some studies still indicate that security is a chief inhibitor to wider cloud adoption, there is little doubt the industry has responded with new innovative methods of securing cloud data and infrastructure. However, there is still debate on what are the right technologies and ways to do this.

In this webinar we will explore what some of the leading Cloud Security providers are doing to protect you, your data and your cloud infrastructure. Where should the emphasis be: on the cloud infrastructure, on your data, even on your endpoint? What is your responsibility versus your cloud provider? How can you work with your cloud provider and security vendor to be ensure you are doing the best you can? What does the near term and future hold?

Join us as we host an all star panel from three of the leading cloud security vendors – Qualys, Alert Logic and Illumio for an in depth discussion on where the cloud security state of the art is and what you need to know.

  • DevOps Luminary, Ernest Mueller Set to Return to DevOps Days Austin Stage

DevOps Luminary, Ernest Mueller Set to Return to DevOps Days Austin Stage

Ernest Mueller, the Agile Admin has been part of the DevOps scene almost since the very beginning. He was one of the founders and still a leader of the Austin DevOps scene. Ernest after many years of speaking at DevOps Days Austin had announced that he was “semi-retired” from speaking at DevOps Days Austin and would no longer appear there.  devopsy.kinsta.cloud in an exclusive, is now reporting that Ernest Mueller, the Agile Admin is back!

Via unnamed confirmed sources we have verified that Mueller will be reprising his “State of DevOps” presentation at this year DevOps Days Austin on May 2nd and 3rd. If this is indeed true, what a great turn of events for the DevOps community.

Our unnamed confirmed sources also tell us that the his fellow organizer crew for DevOps Days Austin crew is ecstatic that Ernest has reconsidered. Just on the rumors alone ticket sales for the event have immediately picked up.

Will this be Mueller’s swan song? Will this years presentation rekindle his burning desire to present at DevOps Days Austin? Only time will tell. We hope to confirm details with Mueller shortly and will have a follow up story shortly. For now though the news is that Ernest M is back!

These business capabilities are composed of services and applications that, when orchestrated, deliver business value to users. Lines of business that need these capabilities do not care how these individual services and applications are delivered—they want them to be high-quality, to attain maximum customer and business value, and to be delivered quickly. This panel will consist of experts from IBM and several of our clients. The panelists will discuss how they have adopted DevOps in a two-speed IT model: the challenges faced, successes achieved and lessons learned.
