Automatic and intelligent observability drives faster innovation and improved customer experience, despite travel industry disruption

WALTHAM, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Software intelligence company Dynatrace (NYSE: DT) today announced Park ‘N Fly, the leading off-airport parking provider, is using Dynatrace® to accelerate development cycles and deliver exceptional digital experiences across mobile and web apps, and airport kiosks.

As a result, Park ‘N Fly has been able to accelerate development cycles by 29% on average, including a 43% improvement during its busiest two-week sprint.

“Dynatrace allows us to innovate much faster, which has been instrumental in the launch of major new customer-facing features for our mobile app, particularly our Come Get Me and Shuttle Tracker features,” continued Schirrmacher. “Dynatrace’s AI capabilities have given our digital teams the confidence to try new things, knowing they can quickly assess the business impact of their changes and resolve any issues, instead of spending days or weeks trying to understand the outcomes of their efforts.”

  • Logi Analytics Provides New Reporting Experience for HI-IQ

HI-IQ equips platform with new analytics and reporting dashboard functionality to empower interventional radiology end users

MCLEAN, Va. –– March, 22, 2021 –Today, Logi Analytics, the leading provider of embedded analytics solutions for software teams, and HI-IQ, which provides solutions for a diverse range of interventional radiology needs, announce a new partnership to provide reporting capabilities for quality assurance through HI-IQ Insight.

For interventional radiology departments, having reports on information such as procedure volume, adverse events and complication rate trends are critical to improving quality of care and obtaining additional resources. HI-IQ and Logi Analytics’s partnership provides interventional radiology departments a reporting tool that presents this data using visualizations and charts, allowing users to gain insights by filtering data down and only pulling what is relevant to them.  Through the HI-IQ Insight platform, HI-IQ plans to implement embedded analytics into workflow management and inventory functionalities in the near future.

“For IR professionals, it is beneficial to track trends happening within their department to improve quality and develop a plan to better serve patient and staff needs. For example, a spike in complications may be attributed to a multitude of reasons such as sicker patients or a case mix that is different from prior months. Without a great analytics tool, these abnormalities may not have been apparent,” said Emily DeMerchant, President at HI-IQ. “Through Logi Analytics, we were able to embed analytics into our existing HI-IQ platform so IR end users can pull trend reports and highlight the key information needed to adjust or adhere to their current processes and improve patient care without having to leave the HI-IQ platform.”

“The HI-IQ Insight platform is the perfect example of why embedded analytics is essential in healthcare. Without the ability to quickly and easily track data such as adverse events and complication rates, record status and service volume, IR departments are left scrambling to improve quality of care and revise processes blindly,” said Charles Caldwell, Vice President, Product Management at Logi Analytics. “Our solutions empower end-users to act upon data in real-time, creating an entirely new reporting experience for healthcare workers.”

“It’s no secret that there are scarce resources in the IT department and they are looking to downsize software. Traditional Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) don’t hold a candle to what HI-IQ Insight can do. With the information that you can extract from HI-IQ Insight, it is just taking reporting in IR departments to another level,” said Douglas Sutton RN, MSN, Manager Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound Sound and Radiology Nursing Services at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

  • Harness Commits New Dev Experience to its Continuous Integration Open Source Community

Harness CI Community Edition (aka Drone) now includes pipeline execution visualizations, live debugging capabilities, and enterprise-grade security and governance

SAN FRANCISCO – March 18, 2021 – Harness, the leading platform for software delivery, today announced major updates to its open source module, Harness Continuous Integration (CI) Community Edition (formerly Drone.io). Along with a new dev experience and user interface designed to mirror Harness’ industry-leading Software Delivery Platform, today’s release provides open source contributors with new pipeline execution visualizations, advanced governance and security controls, and live CI pipeline debugging capabilities, to build and test code in record time.

Today’s software development and engineering teams waste hours of valuable time and resources waiting on pipeline builds, only to scramble to find a solution when one breaks. To mitigate this frustrating and time consuming cycle, Harness enhanced its marquee open source CI module, with a series of updates that allow developers to quickly respond to failures and create a shorter path back to innovation. Rebranded as Harness CI Community Edition, if a build does break, the developer is now presented with a link to the failed CI server allowing them to debug with ease.

“Following the acquisition of Drone, Harness made it our mission to provide the OSS community with the investment and tools they need to simplify and accelerate software delivery,” said Brad Rydzewski, CEO and founder of Drone.io. “We’re proud to not only deliver on that message and meet the needs of today’s overburdened engineer, but do so with features that surpass proprietary vendors.”

Today’s news marks Harness’ first major contribution to the open source software community following its acquisition of Drone in August 2020. Since Drone was founded in 2013, it has earned more than 100 million downloads from DockerHub, boasts 50,000 active monthly users, and is the most ‘liked’ CI/CD project on GitHub with 21,319 likes – 5,500 more than Jenkins, 13,000 more than Spinnaker, and 18,000 more than Jenkins-X. Additional updates to Harness CI Community Edition include:

    • New Dev Experience: A sleek, modern user interface designed to match other Harness product modules creates a smooth transition for developers working between Harness modules.

    • Pipeline Execution Visualizations: Developers can understand exactly what pipeline steps are executing, when, and in what order – all using a visual map. This is an easier and faster way of tracking complex pipelines than reviewing them as text in log files.

    • Live CI Pipeline Debugging: Debugging builds that work on developers’ computers and not on the CI server can be a time consuming and difficult undertaking. With live CI pipeline debugging, developers can solve build failures occurring on CI instances quickly.

    • Enhanced Governance & Security: Managers no longer need to add users and control access to pipelines via a command line or the API. The CI system is managed in a faster and less complicated user interface that is also scalable.

Harness will continue to invest, innovate and support the open source community with additional OSS announcements planned for 2021. To learn more about Harness CI Community Edition, visit https://harness.io/.

The investment, which includes both primary and secondary components,  will help expand Incredibuild’s US operations to meet the rapidly growing demand for its software development acceleration technology. The company, which has been profitable from day one, experienced a 55% increase in revenue in the past year as businesses seek the ability to build and ship software versions faster without compromising on quality. Lead investor Insight Partners is joining Fortissimo Capital who acquired Incredibuild in 2018.

Incredibuild provides an out-of-the box platform that harnesses the power of compute to distribute processes across idle power in a network, thereby allowing companies to maintain a competitive edge by releasing better software faster. Built for both the cloud and on-premise environments, Incredibuild helps solve the time to market challenge and reduce compute costs by up to 30%. Over 800 customers, including Microsoft, Amazon, Citibank, Barclays, Adobe, Disney, Intel, Samsung, EPIC Games, and Nintendo, use Incredibuild to accelerate the development cycle, from code compilation to testing to release automation. The investment signals strong confidence in the value of Incredibuild’s technology to its existing customer base, and a promise for continued product innovation and strong customer support going forward.

“In fiercely competitive markets, top quality frequent releases are vital,” said Tami Mazel Shachar, CEO of Incredibuild, who has been accelerating the company’s growth since joining a little over a year ago. “With the new funding, Incredibuild is poised to expand the market opportunity, enabling companies to maintain their competitive edge. With cloud adoption being paramount, we plan to further scale and evolve our software development acceleration platform for development teams and release managers in verticals such as finance, gaming, and the growing AR and VR markets.”

Investor Insight Partners has an impressive track record of scaling up companies in the development space, such as JFrog and Docker. Insight deploys their ScaleUp engine, Onsite, to partner with companies across functional business areas to help them become market leaders. Insight Partners’ Managing Directors Teddie Wardi and Lonne Jaffe and Senior Associate Brad Fiedler will be joining Incredibuild’s Board of Directors.

“We firmly believe that Incredibuild has built a crucial technology for any business that wants to develop better software, radically faster,” said Teddie Wardi, Managing Director at Insight Partners. “With our long history of investing in the development ecosystem, we are confident that Incredibuild will continue to innovate and build upon their recent momentum.”
“Fortissimo bought Incredibuild in 2018 with belief in the enormous potential of distributed processing,” said Yoav Hineman, Partner at Fortissimo Capital and board member of Incredibuild. “The investment by Insight Partners is a great milestone in delivering unparalleled acceleration for software developers”
